Cornish Holy Well Trails 2020
Get closer to nature and feel the spirit and power of place when you visit holy wells and sacred springs. These wonderful places are a direct link with our ancestors who venerated the water source which became central to their rituals and marking important occasions. You may already feel this connection when you spend quiet time at the holy wells or listening to the flow of the springs tucked away deep in the countryside.
Joining us on a Cornish Holy Well Trail will give you the opportunity to learn about the history and Cornish Saint associated with each well and make a connection with what each place means to you.
You can also choose to be guided through a dedicated ritual or meditation or make you own Cornish Holy Well Environmental Essence capturing your experience, using dowsing and intuition, in a bottle to take home, at one of the holy wells or springs by arrangement. Or take a dedicated visit to one site.
You will get a map of our route and a handbook with information about the history and ritual and how to make a flower and environmental essence if you have chosen to add this to your experience. The picture of Sancreed Well deep in the countryside of West Cornwall.
Cornish Holy Well Trails take place throughout Cornwall focusing on a few wells in the same local area.
Trails will take place in an around the Roseland Peninsula, West Cornwall, Camborne, Liskeard and Launceston.
For example you could explore three very different wells in the countryside of West Cornwall. From the pagan wells of Alsia thought to be associated with the goddess of fertility; Sancreed Well, where descending the steps down into the earth may be interpreted by some people as a feeling of connection with other worlds. Visiting St. Madern's Well and oratory following pilgrims footsteps in the saints' tradition.
Prepare for the weather bringing walking boots or wellingtons and a packed lunch, Each tour will have a central meeting point from where we may travel by car or on foot to the locations,
Some trails are physically demanding and may not be suitable for all people. Please check with the organisers before booking. All participants are responsible for their own safety, health and well-being before, during and after any Holy Well Trail.. Social distancing is necessary during these times so we can welcome only small groups at present.
Cornish Holy Well Trails will be starting at the end of April this year and cost £45 per person. Why not organise a visit just for you.

This leads you to photos of the sacred springs and holy wells associated with each essence created at the site. You may be drawn to one or more through your natural intuition and would like to visit. Reiki Master Teacher Workshops all 2020
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese technique for relaxation and stress reduction which is administered by a simple system of hand techniques. Based on the idea that an unseen life force energy which is part of every living thing including us. Reiki energy may boost personal energy levels when we are tired and thus improve the balance of our feelings and health and well-being.
What is a Reiki attunement ?
The story of Reiki involves the use of symbols which have been shared between Reiki teachers and students since the development of this gentle treatment. It is believed that to be able to perform Reiki, at its different levels, Reiki teachers need to pass these symbols into the energy field of the student to aid the flow and focus of the universal life force. Different symbols are attuned at Level 1, Level 2 Practitioner, Level 3 Advanced Reiki and Master Teacher Level.
Reiki Master Teacher Training
If you have been practising as a qualified Reiki Level 2 Practitioner you may want to progress to using more advance techniques in your
Reiki work and teach other people how to use Reiki.
The training is taught over two sessions, both of two days, although these can be done as individual days or two days together. All days will start around 10.00 a.m. and finish around 4.00 p.m.
The first 2 day session is Advanced Reiki Techniques. You can learn these techniques to enhance your own Reiki practice and recieve an Advanced Reiki Techniques certificate or take part two Reiki Master Teacher training to be able to attune other people to all levels of Reiki.
Day 1: After spending a little time making sure we have all covered similar teachings for Level 2 Reiki Practitioner, we progress on to familiarising ourselves with the new symbols associated with channelling Chi as a Reiki Master, and after having the first Reiki Master Attunement we will learn about the technique of "Removing Energy Blocks". This is sometimes referred to as psychic surgery but I think the first title is a much more realistic way of describing this process. We will have plenty of time to practise and discuss the reiki journey you will be taking by becoming attuned to master level.
Day 2: enables you to learn "Healing Attunement" which is a technique that helps you learn the basics for passing attunements to others, and can also be used as an extra boost when giving Reiki at any time.
The second two day session concentrates on your role as Reiki Master Teacher.
After a further attunement to Master Level you will go through each level of Reiki from 1 to Master, so that you can practise giving the attunements, and we will discuss how to run training sessions, practical things like insurance, health and safety, preparing course materials and lots more. You will recieve a training manual to support your learning and practice.
On completion you will recieve a Reiki Master Teacher Diploma and if you require a Continual Professional Development certificate this will be worth 30 points.
Each day costs £50, a total of £200 for the four days. Please note that during current times social distanced teaching means working outside in nature.
Lesley Oates is an insured, experienced Reiki Master and Teacher with over twelve years experience training all levels of Reiki practitioners.
